Terms of Service

Last updated October 29, 2026

Photorer is made and licensed by FOP Yevhen Holota, a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine. Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and merchant of record, which also handles billing, taxes, invoices and refunds.

1. Who we are

“Photorer”, “we” and “us” mean FOP Yevhen Holota, the developer of the Photorer app for Mac and of this website. “You” means the person or business using Photorer. You can reach us at SUPPORT_EMAIL.

2. Buying Photorer

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms, which cover payment, taxes, invoices, cancellation and refunds.

3. Your license

When you buy Photorer Pro we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Photorer on one Mac that you own or control at a time. The license includes all updates within the major version you bought (for example, every 1.x release).

The free Assistant mode may be used at no charge to join sessions that a Photorer Pro user shares with you. A free 7-day trial gives you all Pro features without payment.

You may not: resell, rent, sublicense or share your license key; publish license keys; remove or bypass license checks; or decompile or reverse engineer Photorer except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction. Photorer and its design remain our property; you receive a license to use it, not ownership.

4. Beta versions

Photorer is currently in private beta, available by invitation. Beta versions are provided with a license key or promo code at no charge, may change or stop working, and are offered for testing. We may end a beta at any time; installed beta copies may then show a notice and ask you to update or buy a license.

5. Your photos

Your photos stay yours. Photorer reads RAW and image files on your Mac and writes ratings and labels to XMP sidecar files next to them. It does not alter the original RAW files and does not upload your photos to us. When you share a shoot with other people, previews travel between your devices and the devices you approve. You are responsible for having the right to share your photos with them and for keeping your own backups.

6. Updates and online features

Photorer checks for updates and for service notices over the internet. You can turn off automatic update checks in the app settings. Some features, such as license activation, need an internet connection.

7. Service level

We work hard to keep Photorer fast and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every camera, file or system. Always keep backups of your photos.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Photorer is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Photorer. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

Your license ends if you break these terms, or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. After that you must stop using the Pro features.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. The version on this page applies from the date above. Changes do not take away a license you have already bought.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
